One of the many benefits of blogging is that you can create a group of readers for your content who will come back on a regular basis.

In this article we want to take a look at one way you can get repeat traffic and make more money in the process.

What we're going to talk about in this article is known as an RSS feed. This is a nice method of getting repeat traffic while building up subscribers.

The definition of an RSS feed is - a family of feed formats that is used to updat digital content on a frequent basis. This would include blogs, podcasts or newsfeeds.

Your goal when you get a visitor to your blog is to get a positive response out of them and one of the most important things you can do is get them to subscribe to your RSS feed.

By making your blog more interactive, they will want to join it because you've invited them to be part of the process. This is known as Web 2.and they may vote in polls, post blog articles, subscribe to your newsletters, watch video and listen to audio, and subscribe to your RSS feed.

The main reason someone would want to subscribe to an RSS feed is because of how they feel about your blog. If you are providing interesting content that is at times controversial or thought-provoking a person will enjoy reading it.

The best blog visitor that you can get is one that is coming back for another time. One of the best ways to get them back is to let them know when you make an update to your blog and they do that by subscribing to your RSS feed.

Depending on the blogging platform that you use you can add a button that allows them to instantly subscribe to your RSS feed and you want to put that at the top of your blog where it can be found. When people are on your blog you want to make it easy for themto do as many things as possible and subscribing to your RSS feed should be at the top of the list.

By getting more subscribers to your RSS feed, the more repeat traffic you will have coming back to our blog.
